Simple Tolerance or Gap Test
Simple Tolerance or Gap Test

Need to create a simple print to check my printer tolerance. With Cura my printer can handle 0.4mm gap, so the printer can't print any print-in-place with tight tolerance. It becomes as one big blob. With Simplify3D everything works like magic. Try these on yours to see how low can you go with the gap. I upload the model at several sizes. The filename xxxxx - ll_rr_hh shows ll is gap around straight leg on the left, rr is gap around angled leg and hh is the hinge's gap.
Better luck with Simplify3D slicer. 0.1-0.2mm at 20% infill.
My BIQU Thunder can handle 0.1mm gap at 0.1mm layer height. 0.2mm layer the hinge glued to its body. It can print print-in-place fidget cube and figure ironman with ease.
