Slider-crank mechanism is a modification of a four bar chain. This mechanism is used to convert rotatory motion to linear motion and vice versa. There are 4 parts to a slider chain mechanism: a fixed frame, rotating crank, connecting rod and a slider which reciprocates between the guides.

This project aims to demonstrate the working of a slider-crank mechanism to the students. Further, this design can be used as a prototype for kinematic analysis projects of the slider crank mechanism.
Closest commercial variant ($255)
In this product the seller has included a ruler to measure travel of slider and angle measurer to measure the rotation of crank. This can be easily added to my design with minimal costs.
.stl and .scad file are provide for easy understanding of design components. The slider, crank and the connecting rod were printed together and the frame was printed seperately to save time.
