Print instructions
- Print 4 shells for the speakers. Support is only needed where speaker driver is inserted (as seen on picture). Two shells should be printed as provided, but mirror the image in the slicer for the second two. Wood filament should be printed with 0.6mm nozzle (had clogging with 0.4mm)
- Print 2 gaskets for the speakers.
- Print 6 spike heads.
- Print 12 spike bodies. Two spike bodies are put togeather and inserted in the speaker head.
TODO
- At the moment speaker has subtle indents for spikes but at the moment they are a bit to small for the ones i provided. (initial version of the spikes were smaller)
- I will modify the model to use these spikes in next version: https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/spikes/monacor-sps-35-black-spikes-black-set-x4-p-2166.html
- I will make a list of covers for the speaker that could be used if gasket is disregarded.
- Subwoofer design is in the process.

Print bed 220x220x300 but you need to position the stl carefully and do not use any brim nor skirt.
nozzle 0.6mm
Use wood filament because it has very different sound characteristics to regular PLA. It acts more like MDF than plastic.
No support is needed for the interior of the speaker. You will see strings hanging but it does not matter, you only need supports for the overhang where driver is inserted.
