A mounting swivel spool holder for all of your pivoting needs!
A four piece design featuring the mount, a pivoting spool holder (two regular posts, and one arm post to choose from), a locking pin, and key to keep everthing snug.
Test printed in MatterHackers Pro Series Translucent Blue PLA at a.2mm layer height with 20% infill.
Some support needed for the mount. It has an offset base, for a secure locking lip, and overhang where it is hung on the wood. Also in the overhang that the dovetail makes in the pin. See print orientation image for placment recommendation, taking note that the "teeth" of the swivel pieces are best printed facing upwards.
I printed each piece individually, and recommend doing so as well. I find that smaller/shorter print sessions can ease the chane of a multi-piece print failure, but to each their own if you choose otherwise.
