This impressive bronze sculpture was produced in 1913 by Gilbert Ledward. It depicts an anonymous nude female reaching upwards; Gilbert's intention was to envisage the dreamlike moments between a deep sleep and rising to an awakended state.
The sculpture is slightly larger than life and stands tall on a rectangular plinth.
