This little life hack is very useful to reduce a long cable that runs off your desk and crowls down the floor till it's crushed by the wheels of your desk chair...
I designed it to suit my headphones wire (2 meters long and 3mm thick), and thanks to it, I keep my cable safe by reducing its lenght by more than 50% !
A must have to keep your wires on your desk !!
2 sizes : M (for large and long wires) S (for little wires)
Use it : Place your wire between the 2 blocks of the Bottom part. Secure it by clipping the Pivot part over it. Clip the Top part over the wire (be sure to let the wire go between the four littles blocks of the Top part). And you're good to go ! Just turn the Bottom part following the direction of the arrows, and watch your wire shrink ! To release it, simply pull off your wire by both sides of the Cable Eater. Print it : Pivot and bottom parts should be print at 100% infill to be strong enough. The top part can be printed down to 25% infill. 0.1mm layer height is recommended to have a good result. Cura Engine seems better than Slic3r for this job...
