Description
This figure with a belt was one of several Venus figurines discovered alongside the Venus of Brassempouy (see here) in France in 1892. They presumably come from the Gravettian, an archaeological industry of the European Upper Paleolithic (29,000–22,000 BP).
Unlike the Venus itself, the figurines are exhibited at the Maison de la Dame in Brassempouy.
