Part of the Tabletop Classics: Series 1 collection, the Owlbear is a large mystical beast of the deep forests.
Useful both as a devestating creature that can crush opponents with their raw strength, or as a neutral monster intent on protecting her cubs, the Owlbear is an iconic beast and has appeared in many tabletop RPGs across the years.
We wanted to bring that "classic" Owlbear to the table, while avoiding tropes that make it look silly, overdone, or too beast like. Finding the ideal middle ground between it's twin inspirations of Bear and Owl were very important in making this icon shine. Along the way, this piece took many changes and iterations, and we've included 2 development builds, both the feathered final, and the fluffier Version 1.
This file includes 2 versions of the owlbear; our finished adult Owlbear with detailed feathers throughout, and our original "molting" owlbear with fuzzy fur and feathers only on it's neck and plume.
This dragon comes pre-supported with the exact file that Arcknight uses to print our own copies. You may need to add additional supports if you are printing at lower resolutions.
We recommend printing the Owlbear at 43mm, and placed on a 2" wide base (a standard .STL base has been provided).
You may also wish to print Molting Owlbears at a smaller scale, to use as cubs.
