This bronze sculpture by Alphone Terroir (Marly-lez-Valenciennes 1875 - Paris, 1955) is titled 'Le jouer de flute de pan' (Eng. The Pan Flute Player). The public sculpture along the Rue de St Catherine is a cast of the original plaster piece which can be found at the Museum of Fine Arts of Valenciennes. The sculpture depicts a boy playing the pan flute.
