I needed to make a naked GoPro micro drone for a filmmaking friend with zero FPV experience. This meant that it needed to be as durable and reliable as possible, fly for a long time, and have a high quality camera feed. The overall design is loosely based on Tommy Tibajia's Umma85X—but redesigned from scratch and significantly improved (hence the name: UltUmma85X). The following is a list of features:
- The original Hero6 has been upgraded to a Hero8.
- The GoPro is removeable, so you can use it with other drones.
- A rollcage protects the GoPro from crashes.
- A naked Caddx Vista allows for HD digital FPV through the DJI goggles.
- Finally, a larger battery lets the drone fly for more than 6 minute indoors.
Also included is a bonus ND filter holder for Mavic 2 Zoom ND filters.

Note: The pictures differ slightly from the files included. Since doing the photoshoot, I've upgraded the rollcage substantially and made minor changes to some of the other parts.
The rollcage and DJI camera body/mount should be printed in a rigid material. PLA, PETG, or ABS will work great for most people. If you're a freestyle pilot and you want to do fancy tricks or fly really fast in tight spaces, you might want to consider something even tougher like polycarbonate.
The GoPro chassis and Caddx Vista caddy/spacers should be printed in something semiflexible - I recommend Ninjatek Armadillo or Nylon.
Vibration dampeners should be printed in ~95A TPU. There are a lot of different varieties of TPU, so you can scale the Z axis up and down (thicker and thinner) as necessary when slicing. I'd also recommend adding a third screw on each motor to make sure they're held tightly in place - the extra machine screws from stripping the DJI camera are great for this.
You'll need self-tapping M1.4x5 screws to connect the DJI camera to the holder, and self-tapping M1.7x6 screws for everything else.
You should also have zip ties to secure some parts, and a raspberry pi heatsink is recommended for the GoPro.
