The foul zombie knight flicked the fresh blood from his rusty blade, his twisted face formed into a permanent sneer.

 "Why do you fight for these people, who fear you?"

 The old tiefling lifted his horned head as his eyes filled with blue light.

 "Because it is right, and because some of those people decided to raise me and love me, in spite of my appearance and origin. The least I can do is give my life for them."
