Inspired by iconic TIE fighter, The Tiny TIE is designed as a DIY 3D printable performance indoor first person view (FPV) TIE racing platform. It has performance similar to that of the inductrix and the tiny whoop. With FPV you can fly the drone while watching the video feed from the onboard camera in near real-time. It really feels like you're piloting the quadcopter. The wings act as landing gear and protect the props against most accidental impacts. The design has been optimised so the drone is very stable while remaining very responsive.

Other Necessary Components
Flight Controller: Tiny TIE has been tested with both the BeeCore and BeeBrain flight controller. However, there are a number of equally good or better options available. You can find a number of flight controller options here*: https://amzn.to/2xfk4VV
Propellers: You need 4 Blade/Inductrix/Tiny Whoop propellers, 2 CW and 2 CCW rotating. There are many choices of colours and sets*: https://amzn.to/2NdWV0V
Motors: The Tiny TIE requires 4 of 6x15mm coreless brushed motors, 2 that rotate CW and 2 that rotate CCW, you can find some options here*: https://amzn.to/2MwxWkb
Camera: Although the Tiny TIE can be built without FPV support, it's really much more fun when you fly with FPV. To implement FPV, you will need a FPV compatible 5.8GHz camera and transmitter, here are some options to consider*: https://amzn.to/2MzeEe5
To mount the camera on the flight controller you will need the appropriate camera mount. STLs for the camera mount are included here but you can find other custom mounts for different cameras on thingiverse.
