Description
This is a statue of a satyr, recognisable by the fur on the chest and the presence of a tail. His genitalia have been removed and he has two crosses on the chest, which we can explain by the statue being rededicated in Christian times. It stood in the facade of the nymphaeum and comes from Miletus (nowadays Turkey).
