Description
This contemporary work, created by a student at The Glazunov Academy, depicts a young woman sleeping in a bundle of grass. Titled Verena, the work might pay homage to Saint Verena, a little known religious figure who travelled to Switzerland from Egypt to help the poor and sickly in the 3rd Century AD.
