Description
Found in the Asklepieion in Athens. Asklepios, seated on a throne, treats a patient on a couch, whom he touches with his hand. One of Asklepios's sons attends behind the couch. At the left are two worshippers. According to the inscription on the epistyle, the relief was dedicated when Diophanes was the God's priest.
