This object was made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iGokGZjPvYU (This link points to the Tinkercad where the components are layed our seperately and optimal for direct printing)
The assembled design can be found here https://www.tinkercad.com/things/loSmxLPfjCN
For the Tinkercad/IVI contest I designed this mechanical Persian Water wheel to lift the water to a certain height. After that it flows back down using a series of changable components.
The model is fully printable and requires no other materials. The fountain parts are all components that can easily be swapped for other types to create even more interesting waterfalls.
This was my first experience with Tinkercad and one of my first ever 3D Designs.
Since I had a blast designing this object I definetly want to make more cool objects so I started a blog.
The design process of this object was my first blog post so if anyone is interested it can be found here
A video of the working wheel can be found here
No other software was used except Tinkercad.
0.2-0.3 Layer height
-No support needed (only for the optional spiral wheel)
