Zaratan
The great turtle islands of this region are quite rare, with only
a dozen or so known to exist across the expanse of the Isles.
Their exceptionally long lives and lack of natural predators
has resulted in a species that puts very little emphasis on
reproduction, with mating happening quite rarely in the
species. As such, the population of Zaratan has remained
small over the many centuries that they have inhabited the
isles.
