Description
This is a statue of Key Marco Cat. Originally found on Marco Island in 1896. It is believed to made in 1300AD and preserved by wet, oxygen-less conditions. This is a scan of a sculpture of the original that stands about 3 inches tall. It now rests in the Smithsonian. For more information visit Marco Island Historical Society.
