Hi!
This is a variation of Futuristic City Builder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1680965)
Same algorithm and same customization. Just changed geometry and a new style of city is born.
This time looks even more futuristic so i called Sci-Fi. You can imagine planes and ships fliying around.
Uploaded some STL's with samples generated testing the algorithm.
For more info about customization see my previous citiy generator: (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1680965)
Hope you enjoy it.
Have fun!!
Printer : BQ Prusa i3 Hephestos
Supports : No
Resolution : 0.2 or less
Infill : 10% or more
Notes :
No supports!!! Geometry prints well without supports.
Tested with PLA at 0.2 resolution.
Infill acts like supports from inside so the roofs prints better. Use 10% or more to avoid holes in roofs
I use Cura 2.1.2 as slicer software and have some hints for better prints:
- 2 shells, 3 Top/Bottom slices
- Use Concentric Top/Bottom pattern for better roofs or 3 extra skin wall count (this is very important to avoid roof holes)
- Use Lines as Infill Pattern. Reduces filament consumed and works like Grid
Hint: Print a big one!!! Looks awesome!
