L'Hiver which translates to 'Winter' is a cast from 1993, its original was in marble made in 1712 by Jean Raon (1630-1707). Later in life this sculpture was finished by his son Jean-Melchior Raon. You can see this piece in the western pool of Tuileries Gardens, (Jardin des Tuileries) where is has stood since 1712.
