Description
Used Red & White PLA 0.2 mm @ 195 nozzle & 60 bed. The bottom piece with the screw in the middle is critical and I ended up printing it at 100% infill as the screw threads in my earlier prints were not strong enough. The gears must turn easily, after running them in I added some white lubricant to keep them working well and I had to trim the sides of the flat gear surfaces to fit easily in the housing. The magnets are necessary to align the two halves and keep them shut. I'm giving this to my fiancee' to keep her wedding ring in.
