I don't think that the electronics will cause me any problems, as I am an electronics engineer. And your description on this is just fine. The problem is assembling the head of the lamp. When the core (filename) is facing outwards like on the attached photo, the movement of the arms can work, but the lock nut seems to be too far back when the leaves are closed so that there is no space for the lead screw. When the core is facing inwards, there could be space for the lead screw, but the leaves does not move enough. Another problem is the tab (in the red circle on the photo) that I think is for the end stop detector. Because of the tab, I can not insert the bulb.
