Community Print 3D Print of Hemistorm’s RC Crawler Customizer Competition

This is my Ascender for which I've 3d printed a bunch of parts, most of them designed by myself to either improve the trucks performance or looks Even though I've had it for a bit over five years it's still in development although some parts take longer time to develop than others The first part to be designed was the grill with the modern version of the Chevy front end rather than the old one that came with the kit, I prefer the later version of the grill but I think i did it a bit too good because most people seem to think it's a stock grill and not 3d printed. The rims are made to look like the Texas star because where else to a flake covered, flame painted off road kited Chevy Blazer appear than in the US south, the rims are three piece bead locks and they have a slightly different offset than the stock rims to clear the body a bit better to minimize some of that nasty tire on body scraping sound Further I've designed a battery mount be able to run the truck on a 5000mah 3s lipo and still use the stock mounting system where the battery tray is connected to the front axle. The battery mount I feel have made a great difference giving the truck great stability and climbing capabilities, if I run it on a smaller 2200mah battery I feel a great difference in how the truck performs, also the 5000mah battery give me up to 8-10hrs of driving time so I never have to carry extra batteries with me while on the trails Further the truck receiver box made to look like some sort of a fuel cell but I went a bit overboard with the design and it features dual Chevy logos underneath that where ment to be lit but I haven't gotten that far yet, at least it's made to be water tight and houses a 10ch receiver because we all need more channels, right The roof rack are also of my own design and once again I got a bit carried away with the design, it have several Chevy logos all around which nobody have seen, it was only recently that someone saw the Chevy logos in the roof top lights only because the led lights have started to act a bit weird. I made the roof rack with a mounting system that hides the rear mounting poles and pins which have manage to make a few people to think it's a real truck rather than a toy truck The lights on the roof rack are modeled after Lightforce biggest lights and feature an attempt at having parking/effect lights and full beam, the first is still under development and I'm looking at ways of making the lenses a bit clearer to get better light from them The inner fenders are bought models which I have modified to add rock lights (future project), mud flaps (yes they hav the Chevy logo) and also had to modify them to make room for the above mentioned battery mount. That's it for now, I have a few thing I'm working on for this truck such as better taillight, an improved grill, better looking rims and new inner fenders that don't scrape the paint of the body. To me 3d printing means I can make the things I want and not have to worry if they brake, if they do I just improve if needed and make new ones. I probably wouldn't have any 3d printers if I didn't have my rc's but then again I wouldn't have the rc's I do without my 3d printers, to be able to make a quick esc mount really means that the hobby gets so much easier
