Community Print 3D Print of Hemistorm’s RC Crawler Customizer Competition

This is my ZIL157. My second printed body. It took some time to get the printer dialed in but I succeeded :) The front bumper is my own design and printed in SLA (it's quite thin and broke on the first run... battle scars :) this truck isn't quite finished but I couldn't wait any longer because I was really curious how it would run... it is based on a SCX10.2 Unimog chassis. My previous entry show the dually's I wanted to mount on this truck but like stated in that entry, I didn't like the looks of the rim on this military truck. I still have to beat it up a little and add some weathering (which I have never done, so that is going to be a first for me...). The rear dually's are the original wheels, from an Axial Unimog (those tires are hopeless... but fit this build wonderful). Since Axial does not know dually's, I bought some long nuts and designed adapters to fit over them, so the second (outer) wheel would fit as well. Unfortunately the front fenders do not fit, since the wheeltravel is quite hefty. The wheels would rub on inclination (vertaal ik dit goed? Als één of beiden wielen inveren). I'm not sure what to do with the rear. I think I will install either a fifth wheel of a big-ass winch (old style). This truck has a simple 35T standard motor with a Hobbywing 1080 in front and an Injora steering servo.
