I got my first 3D printer in January and I’ve been addicted to designing and printing my own parts since. I bought my second printer in March and they basically never stop printing.
The 8x8 is two trx6 chassis that I welded together. The inner fenders, body mounts, rear bed, exhaust, tail lights and 5th wheel hitch and many other small parts are all designed by me and printed in PETG.
The trailer is also designed by me and all 3D printed in PETG out of many parts I bolted together. I didn't realize how strong PETG is and if I remove the axles and tires, I can actually stand on that trailer and I'm 200lb.
The F450 has been custom lowered with all parts designed by me and in PETG It features cantilever rear suspension and over 50 individual 3D parts that allow the wheels and tires to sit inside the fenders when it’s fully lowered. It’s built around a superscale2020 module which allows me to control ride height via tx and 4 servos at each corner. This was the most complicated project I've taken on so far.
The photos at the end show close ups of under the cab of the 8X8 and under the body of the F450.
