I've spent a long time this year collaborating with the great folks at Fillamentum ( https://fillamentum.com ) to bring my GBE playset (https://jugglingwithjelly.wordpress.com/galactic-british-empire/) to life in their brilliant range of colours, which I was already a huge fan of. So when they asked me to design a Xmas tree for 3D printing I was very happy to oblige.
It had to be easy to print and I obviously wanted to make it a good model for showing off filament colours, so nice big flat facets seemed the way to go.
The tree ornament will print in vase mode or with just perimeters (0% infill). The bauble (small) will print with 0% infill at normal size.
The example model for the ornament was printed in PLA Extrafill Vertigo Galaxy and the example bauble was printed in PLA Extrafill Vertigo Grey
You can see me waffle on about this model here: https://youtu.be/kwmrhlF2nsE
*** UPDATE, Lampshade version added, this is designed to fit over a Toolmoon t-bulb. I've also included my spool-bung lamp base here. Photo of the lamp show the base printed in Gold Happens PLA and the shade printed in CPE HG100 Pink Blush
