I purchased my first 3D printer in September 2019 (Creality CR-10). I'm trying to learn both sides of the hobby (design & printing). I have no previous experience with CAD or 3D printing. I'm slowly learning Fusion 360 for various functional projects while I download other people's art files and learn how to get better results out of the printer (printer upgrades, better slicing parameters, etc.). I ordered a Prusa Mini but probably won't get it until March of 2020. My wife is trying to learn painting and airbrushing so my new hobby lines up pretty well with hers. I print and she paints!
