Been painting miniatures off and on for nearly 40 years. My early teens spent huddled by the glow of an overhead lamp using Tamiya paints when there was nowhere near the selection there is today. Working with a palette of maybe a dozen colors. Lead miniatures was the standard and we never worried about fumes and such. Into my later teens and twenties, I was introduced to the Garage Kit hobby. Resin kits were cast by hand with silicone molds and poured resin. The hobby blew up for near a decade, then slowed down. Now with resin printers, the hobby is thriving with mountains of kits, busts, and miniatures all available at the click of a button. I'm up to 4 printers (3 resin and 1 filament), although I don't know why... I can barely keep up with one. The idea I guess is to eventually turn it into a business... who knows what the future might bring. For now its all about learning and creating.
