If you have a classic (older) Sheaffer ball-point pen, and want to use a Fisher Space Pen ink refill inside of it, this adapter will allow it to work properly.
The adapter is a cylinder 5mm diameter, 7mm long, which will allow the clicking mechanism on the end of the pen to reach the ink cartridge, and engage the tip of the pen so that it extrudes and retracts in and out of the pen body as it should.
I had originally designed a more complicated design that would wrap around the Fisher ink cartridge, etc, but this simple cylinder inserts into the pen body and does the job just fine. You may have a hard time removing this cylinder from the pen body after inserting it, but I have no plans to ever do that here, because I really like the way the Fisher pens write.
Prints fine in PLA using a standard 0.4mm nozzle and a
0.2mm layer height;
