This was designed in open rocket. I used LW-PLA (at 50% extrusion multiplier and 230C) for the body, and PLA, or TPU for the nose. The body weighs 3 grams(print using 100% infill), and the Nose must weigh7-8 grams(printed at 65% infill). If you decide to use PLA for the body, up the weight of the nose to 9 grams using more infill. This is to get the CG in the right spot.

Use the string test to determine if your rocket is stable the way you print it. Perform the string test with a motor installed.

I have flown it with an A8-3, B6-4, and C6-5. Altitude have been 800ft, 1200ft and 1500ft respectively. This is according to the simulation in open rocket, and looking at the flights I have no reason to doubt it.

This rocket was designed to go as high as possible using 18mm motors. There is no recovery system, I am working on one and will upload when testing is done. It takes 3 hours to print a complete rocket and pennies worth or filament. It does come down fast and will lawn dart. Then you get to treasure hunt and find it. I have got it back quite a few times and flown again. Be careful and don't let it hit anything. You could install a shock cord in the nose cone and that may slow the decent down a bit. I am working on that as well. The design works, and has been flown over a dozen times, however it is a work in progress. It's meant to be a cheap throw away design that goes max height. On a C motor it is very impressive, you will loose sight of it.
