PS: dont try this unless you are sure of what you are doing! This is a major modification from the original machine setup.
Part cooling fan greatly improves print quality.
I have had a leapfrog printer for ages, it always bothered me that the dual extruders prevented me from using the full build plate.
This upgrade maximizes the usable size of the build platform.
New build volume is x-278 y-335 z-576 (-1,4cm height) Major print quality improvement.
You will need 4 new slide bearings IGUS rjum-01-12.
You will need a E3D V5 hot end.
You will need a 20mm cooling fan for the hot end model 3010
You will need a new 50mm Radial centrifugal fan.
You will need to flash new firmware file to the controller.
You will need a new longer x-axis timing belt.
You will need some 3mm threaded rod.
You will need to cut the left hand front-bearing mount for the y-axis.
You will need a smaller end bearing on the right hand bearing block.
Make sure you use the end chain for the power chain on the x axis carriage or it can jam when printing in the rear right hand corner of the printer.
The Entire hotend assembly slides off just attach it on the top with a wide head short wood skrew.

i used 50% innfill and support on all parts for stiffness and dimensional accurasy. I printed in PLA
