Made a custom stand for my "globe" moons. Just using a LED T10 light like used for license plate, socket, switch and barrel jack. Can manually rotate moon until i model up something with a cam motor. Will be after holidays. I used stock globe settings on the website and used moon.pdf here in files section for photo. Going to make a cap for the bottom to hide wiring that will just be CA glued to the two tabs.
Have found a rotating base that works great too and from amazon!

The moon/globe is generated from http://www.lithophanemaker.com
I use all the default Settings for generating the model. For creating the image to upload, follow the instructions in moon.pdf in the files section to yield best results.
After uploading the image though, I do apply a Y-Shift in the settings to center my uploaded image.
