Description
This is a fragment of a wheel from the 5th visible chariot, accompanying the rest of the wheel and horses in the block. The following block (S XXX) was removed in order to make a window in the Christian church in the Parthenon, and is therefore lost. The neighbouring blocks are of some assistance in restoring the scene, we can assume that the actual 5th chariot was represented there.
