While working with Open-SCAD one day, I decided a new conversation piece for my desk was in order so I designed this up using an image from the internet, the offset command in Open-SCAD and box of stand-offs from Amazon (you can get them here: http://amzn.to/2hZAvfK ). The results were rather cool and it serves its purpose all that see it mention how "different" it is! Also don't the picture stop you at three just because I did! You can do 5 or ten it's all up to you! Also if you have an idea for another "object" you would like to see done like this, please drop me a note and I will consider doing it! :-)

We used this filiment http://diy3dtech.com/pla and after printing you may need to use a small drill bit to clean out the holes and simply insert the either the bolts (for the first one) and then the stand offs, and finally the nuts on the last. Also nothing says you have limit yourself to only three! Also if your looking for a collection of professional 3D print finishing tools take a look here: http://diy3dtech.com/3d-print-clean-up-tools/
