This slightly larger than life bronze sculpture depicts John the Baptist, created by Giuliano Vangi in 1996 and presented to the city in 1997. Vangi (born March 13, 1931) is an Italian sculptor. He received the Praemium Imperiale prize, category sculpture, in 2002, considered the Nobel Prize of Arts.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
