While the Winterguard of Valtari are known best for their massed infantry regiments, regiments drawn from Valtaria are capable of filling numerous roles. Artillery and other close support from relatively static emplacements are often crucial to provide heavy artillery fire with the accuracy and responsiveness of direct command, foregoing the lag of arranging, directing, and taking up precious orbital resources from potentially more vital zones. Alongside this, Nyokan weapons teams are often quite capable from quick and effective acclimation to one another.
