A massive terrain set with 1x1 inch squares across it for ease of play when using standard sized TTRPG minis.
The large pieces are intended for printing with an FDM printer. They might fit on a resin build plate but have not been test printed in this manner. The smaller scene pieces are intended and presupported for resin printers.
Ancient ruins from the time of the Oldavori Empire in the First Era. Its original use is lost to time and no amount of scholars who have visited the ruins have been able to scratch a glimpse of what it might have been used for, with two of the same building mirrored and only moments from each other. Some theorise it may have been used as a training ground for the Colossals, owing to the symmetry between the two. Others theorise it may have acted as a conduit or portal, owing to the faint flow of Minera’s Breath that surrounds the valley Budrin Gar is held in.
Why is it here? It’s a question about Budrin Gar that has long pondered scholars from Draksborne and even the esteemed Tharadori Scholar’s Association. A ruin mirrored on both sides of a valley, it appears anything that happens to one, occurs to the other as well. Scholars have even tested things such as inscribing intricate poems upon the walls of one ruin, only to have the sister ruin also bear the same inscription, observers on the other side watching in awe as the stone seemingly chiselled itself out of the wall, collecting in dust on the floor. Often it’s been wondered what the Oldavori Empire needed such a place for, as scholars can see no beneficial properties for such a powerful enchantment, and even visitors from the Associated Magic Schools (AMS) are unable to deduce the source of the enchantment, or replicate it. It seems ancient magic that is lost to time.
A few theories surmise that it was used as a training ground for the elites of the Colossal empire, partaking in war games against each other to hone their already heightened skill in battle. Others theorise that it may have been a place dedicated to wielding Minera’s Breath, perhaps a conduit to another realm or as a portal to connect this realm of the empire to the rest of its vast spanning reaches.
