This is a very stable and stiff mount for Direct Drive on a CR-10 and alike. I have taken the great work of Magnus Hansson and adapted it to my printer.
It uses 2 carriages for the X axis.
Its made for the Orion bed sensor

and a printed mount for you choice of hotend.
I use a V6 but any one would do.
You can find the mount here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2841681
OBS!!!!!
AT LEAST ON THE CR-10 YOU WILL NEED TO HACK UP THE X HOMING SENSOR PLATE UP AND ADJUST THE PLACING OF THE SENSOR.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO POSITION THE Z BEAM ABOUT 20-30MM FURTHER BACK IF YOU WANT TO UTILIZE THE FULL LENGHT OF THE BED. TAKE EXTREME CARE TO DRILL NED HOLES IN THE FRAME AND MOUNT IT SQURE IN ALL DIRECTIONS. THIS IS NOT A NOVICE MOD IF YOU WANT TO MOVE THE Z BEAMS.
Best printed in PETG or ABS/ASA if you want it to last. Specially the bottom part has a tendensy to soften from the heat of the bed.
You will need a new belt, and you can clamp it together as you see fit. I use a cabletie and put the ends together.
I use the part cooler: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3687678
Print it upright to get best fitment of the part and use support.
I printed it solid, there is no need to do less as the part is not designed too big.
