---DESCRIPTION OF STORYLINE---
Dark heart of the woods
On its way to the deep gnome kingdom of Delver’s Deep, the skyship Elora’s Pride is attacked by several drakes. After crashing in the enchanted Blackleaf Forest, the PCs see an ancient legend come to life as a noblewoman from the past haunts these woods, cursed to be hunted by a relentless force of nature forever. In this place where plants walk and deadly flora attack trespassers without mercy, the PCs try to make their way to the foothills before they end up as fertilizer.
Dark Heart of the Woods is the ninth part of the Mini Monster Mayhem campaign, but it can also be played as a self-contained module for four 7th-level characters. It includes a new Monk subclass that ties in with the legend of the Blackleaf Forest.
