I designed these creepy little things in Tinkercad for my kids. After printing, the small bug has a pry point at the end of the butt/tail to get you started in removing it from your print bed. Then fold and snap (or cut) off the long leg anchors. The centipede is around 140mm square, which is about as big as I can print on my Qidi X-One. They'll scale down a bit if you need it smaller. And they certainly scale up! They print nicely hollow with two perimeter layers, but I ended up printing them at 100% infill for more creepy weight. Printing at less than 0.200 layer height may cause adhesion problems where the feet attach (i.e. a leg may fall over before connecting with the body)
For a more realistic weight, try printing at 100% infill. 0.200 layer height works well. Be sure to use a heated bed in order for the legs to adhere well. I print the first layer at 0.300 layer height with the bed temp at 60C (40C for the remaining layers). The feet have to build up quite a ways before they attach to the rest of the leg and there is a risk of falling over. Alternatively, use glue, etc. These scale up very well and are wonderfully creepy in a dark corner of a room!
