HMS Tiger was a battlecruiser of the Royal Navy built in 1913. She was a modified Lion Class battlecruiser and fought several engagements during the First World War, notably the battles of Dogger bank, Jutland and the Second Battle of Heligoland Bight.
During the interwar period Tiger became a Gunnery training ship and served in the battlecruiser squadron when HMS Hood underwent refit. Tiger was sold for scrap in 1932 in accordance with the terms of the London Naval Treaty of 1930.
This model is designed in the 1/1800 scale but can be printed in 1/2400 scale without appreciable loss of detail. The model comes as several STL files, the Hull, turrets and Bridge.
We have tested a few of our designs at two additional scales: 1/3000 and 1/1200 which have all turned out really well. At 1/3000 scale though some components are very small and require additional patience when assembling.
