Rota Remix
This is a remix of Devin Montes, @MakeAnything Rota game board. I took Devi's work added what I learned from 3D Printing Nerd on how to embed magnets in the print. I then added my own twist by using fusion 360 to make the whole project like Devin taught. I just sunk the hole into the part. I also only have one filament, so I added an 'x' and 'o' to differentiate the game pieces. You will need to stop the print just before the layer that covers up the magnets space. Stopping once in the game pieces and once in the game board to insert the magnets. I printed them together, so my print stopped twice. I used Slic3r PE as my slicer.
It was a fun first creation for me, and a great game I get to play with my kids.
Thanks, Devin!

I initially used Prusa control to make a color change to stop the print to add magnets. I then used what I learned from 3D Printing Nerd and installed special Gcode at each layer I wanted the print to stop. Like this: "
;3.8
G1 X10.000 Y200.000 E0; parking position (edit to revise Y coordinate to 10.000 if the part is in the way.)
M1; user stop
M105; return to current temp"
More on that in his link above. I think his catalyst was Makers Muse: flipping normals, but I don't know the original content. If I were to print this again I think I would print it board face down, but it is a great print. I have provided the STL files I generated from Devin's lesson with modifications.
