Based on the famous depiction at the Tomb of Khnumhotep II at Beni Hassan Egypt showing a group of foreign Aamu coming to Egypt, this piece offers a glimps into the world of the Middle Bronze Age Levantine culture.
She is carefully prepared for painting ease with parting lines where skin meets dress and where hair overlaps the face.
Each part is presupported, test printed, and examined for resin traps.
Scale to 1/10 scale bust at 11.2 cm tall.
Half of the files say "supported" in the file name, if pre-supported is desired.
The bust is sliced into multiple pieces so that the supported areas can be kept off the final viewed surface as much as possible. A little clean-up on those back sides will help parts to come together tightly.
For registration, instead of pyramid keys, we use pegs. These pegs are a separate part with several pegs in a row which can be cut into individual pegs once printed. The beauty of this connecting system is it gives you more control when fitting pieces back together since slight shifting or distorition in the printer can cause slight deformations and render tradtional keys useless. The pegs allow you to sand each part, slide your pegs in and glue. If there's deformation in your print where the peg holes are, it's also easy to just drill out the hole.
