This is the 3D file of the intake snorkel for the Hyundai i30N. It comes from our own development. The prototype of this snorkel has been in daily use for several months without any problems. We made the product in a 3D printer from a thermoplastic elastomer, also known as TPU. The material is insensitive to impact and also resistant to greater heat. The prototype was successfully approved by the TÜV in Germany without any problems.
The snorkel can be made in any 3D printer that has a printing plate size of at least 30x15cm and can print at a height of at least 25cm. The material used is TPU from the manufacturer Extrudr. About 350 grams of material go into the snorkel. The production costs are just around € 20.00,
