This is a 3D printed grip for the MiniWare TS100/ Sequre SQ-001 Mini Soldering Iron.
To install, you will need an M2 5mm cap head screw. Remove the bottom screw from the TS100/SQ-001 case, slide the grip over the front of the iron, then use the M2 5mm cap head screw to secure the grip to the iron.
The grip provides a slightly larger area for a more comfortable grip. With a flared end and Textured surface to prevent your hand from sliding off the iron and onto the hot end. It overhangs the hot end of the iron enough to allow for comfortable placement of your fingers without touching the buttons, which gives you a closer, safer grip towards the tip of the iron for more precision soldering. There is an opening on the top providing easy access to the soldering tip set screw, allowing for easy changing of the soldering tip without removing the grip.
I've included 2 versions of the grip. The Ridged grip as shown in teh pictures and the smooth grip.
This should be printed with a high temp filament. The one i use was printed in PETG. It's been tested with the iron set to 300 degrees C, sitting for 30 minutes in a soldering stand, that uses a solid tube instead of a spring. The plastic isn't directly touching the hot end, but will still get warm to the touch without warping or melting the plastic.
