This Deck box features Print-in-Place Hinges, Support-Free design, and very little assembly with no extra fasteners or glue needed.
- The Cover portion of the Books are printed upright in their default positions, like in the slicer examples shown.
- The Pages are printed with the 'top' of the pages on the print bed
- The 2 pieces then Snap-Fit together, with a semi-permanent fit.
- The Latch is printed on the Cover, and it snaps onto the receiving end on the Pages. Its closes tightly enough to hold your cards while inverted and doesn't require magnets or the lifting of any latches to open it back up. Just push the lid open, and snap it shut!
This 2 piece design allows the deck box to be printed without supports and allows the pages to printed in a different color from the book binding, allowing you to have a nice multi color print without the need for multiple extruders or MMU setups.

The Bookshelf Deck Box is designed for FFF/FDM (filament) printing, Resin Prints are possible, but trickier due to the tight tolerances of the moving parts in the hinges.
Minimum Print Size 130mm x 100mm x 60mm
FFF/FDM Printing Preferred
Supportless*, though supports are recommended for the top of frame if your printer struggles with bridging.
(For the Cover Only) Elephant's Foot Compensation (or similar setting) set to 0 or OFF. The Book Covers have a chamfer/taper on the bottom and this setting is not needed, it will only increase the failure rate.
.25 Layer Height Recommended but any will do
