▹ What is a Store Manager and how do I become one?
A Store Manager has access to an abundance of exclusive tools provided by MyMiniFactory and by joining the program, you will receive support and benefits to grow your business from a dedicated Designer Relations Manager. To become a Store Manager is an opportunity for Digital Creators to monetize their creations. Follow the steps below to learn more and get started.
▹ Can I sell IP content or fan art?
In respect of brands and copyright/ trademark laws MyMiniFactory does not allow sales of IP protected content, unless you hold a licensing agreement with the brand.
If you find any Creator who is selling an IP content, please report the object or contact us. We will inform the uploader and remove the object.
▹ What payment methods does MyMiniFactory support for the Store Manager subscription?
For now, MyMiniFactory only accepts PayPal as a subscription method for Store Manager subscriptions. We plan to implement subscription by card as an alternative method as soon as possible. If PayPal is not available in your country or region, please reach out to your Designer Relations team at: to seek alternative options.
▹ How can I change my Store Manager subscription payment details?
To change your payment details, you need to unsubscribe from your current Store Manager subscription plan and subscribe again once your current Store Manager subscription cycle has ended.
▹ How will I receive my Store Manager payouts?
Store payouts are made twice per month via PayPal - on the 14th and 28th of every month.
* Note, the payout will be on the following workday if these dates fall on a holiday or a weekend. For more info, please go to the Store Earnings tab of your store statistics page.
We are dedicated to making transactions on MyMiniFactory as safe as possible so every transaction is checked by MyMiniFactory. Occasionally this may take longer than expected and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
▹ How can I change my payout details?
You can update your payout detail here . Please input the email used with your PayPal email and select save.
▹ What are the fees for Store Managers on MyMiniFactory?
1. MyMiniFactory charges an 8% commission platform fee to Digital Creators on all revenue generated plus payment processing fees as per below:

a) Standard rate: 2.9% + $0.30 per successful payment over $3
b) Micropayment rate: 5% + $0.10 per successful payment $3 or less
*Please note: for all payments from customers located outside the USA there is an additional 1% surcharge

Payment processing fees are calculated on the overall successful payment amount transacted with MyMiniFactory. If the overall successful payment amount is in excess of $3, Creators are charged the Standard rate (non-micropayment) payment processing fees on their object(s) sold irrespective if their proportion (object(s) within the total transaction payment amount) of the overall successful payment is more or less than $3.

2. Creator Payout fees charged by MyMiniFactory on Tribes at launch = 0% (zero)
▹ How does MyMiniFactory collect VAT/Sales Tax?
1. MyMiniFactory manages all VAT/Sales Tax on behalf of the Creator. We collect and remit the applicable VAT/Sales Tax on your behalf to the relevant tax authorities. We are doing this to make matters as easy as possible for the Creators on MyMiniFactory.
2. Your object for sale will advertise the price without VAT/Sales Tax and then if a customer is from an applicable country or region at the checkout stage, the relevant VAT/Sales Tax due will be added to the object price. For example, a Creator inputs the object price without VAT/Sales Tax at $10. A customer is from the UK and a 20% VAT rate is applicable. The price the customer sees and pays at the checkout stage will be $12.
3. The MyMiniFactory 8% commission platform fee is applicable on the object price without VAT/Sales Tax included.
4. Payment processing fees are applicable on the gross object price paid with VAT/Sales Tax included.
5. If you are resident in the UK and registered for VAT, we ask that you please provide us with your valid VAT number and contact your Designer Relations Manager directly to provide you with further information.
▹ Does MyMiniFactory charge and remit VAT/Sales Tax in my name or MyMiniFactory’s name?
MyMiniFactory charges and remits VAT/Sales Tax in MyMiniFactory’s name.

Tribes is an all-in-one subscription service for Creators to set up tier(s) and distribute files through an innovative system. Tribes enables Creators to build a sustainable revenue stream and a space to engage with their community.

MyMiniFactory prides itself on nurturing a collaborative community and we look forward to seeing you grow your Tribe on our platform. ▹ [Tribes] What should I expect in the Beta version as a Creator?
In the Beta version, there might be some bug fixes or some functionalities are not delivered yet. If you find any bugs or you have any feedback regarding the Beta version, please don't hesitate to contact Designer Relations team via
▹ [Tribes] How does file distribution work on Tribes?
Once you have distributed files in a Tier selected, then press the VALID button, the file will be distributed to all the current Tribers. Removing file(s) from a tier will not remove files from the current subscriber’s library.
▹ [Tribes] How does monthly shift work with the file distribution system?
When the monthly shift happens, the file(s) distribution will be triggered based on your Tribers local time-zone. Please inform your Tribers if the file(s) will not be released on the 1st of month via your post or infoblocks.

▹ What file format and size can I upload?
You can upload Stl. Obj and Chitubox files.
▹ What is the max file size?
If you are a store Creator, you can upload 100MB for each file.
If you are a Store Manager , you can upload 500MB for each file.
If you need more please contact us.
▹ How do I get my object approved?
Before approving objects we want to make sure that your object will be printable. The best way to prove this is by submitting a picture of your object 3D printed. Your pictures will then go through our community to make sure that those are indeed pictures of print rather than 3D renders.
*Note, if the software check (see next question) passes and your submitted pictures are not renders. Your object will automatically be approved.
*Note, if you don't have a picture or the software check doesn't pass. Your object will go through a more manual process. We might approve it if passes our manual checks, again having a nice picture uploaded will help.
▹ What is the software check?
We check the uploaded files from printability. Our software checks a few criteria and it might fail for those reasons:
1. Presence of degenerated faces
2. Presence of duplicated faces
3. Mesh is not manifold
4. The normals are not consistent
5. The volume is less than 0
6. Some faces are intersecting each other
You can check what is wrong with your mesh using this little online tool.

▹ What is Tribes?
Tribes is an all-in one subscription service for you to support your favorite Creators and the community. By subscribing to Creator’s Tribes, you will support Creators to build a sustainable recurring revenue stream and Creators will have more resources to create designs/projects for you!
▹ What should I expect in the Beta version as a customer?
In the Beta version, there might be some bug fixes or some functionalities are not delivered yet. If you find any bugs or you have any feedback regarding the Beta version, please don't hesitate to Contact Us.
▹ I have subscribed to a tier, where can I find the files?
You can check in your Library > My Tribes to see the distributed files.
▹ I didn’t receive the new release of files on the 1st of the month, what happened?
In this case, please check if your subscription is still active. If it is, please check the Creator's Tribes page (Infoblock or Post) to see if the files are released.
Please note, MyMiniFactory is only responsible for hosting a Creator’s Tribe. Please reach out to Creators directly if you have any questions or feedback regarding their file releases.
▹ Where can I find a Discount Code?
For individual discount codes that are provided by Creator privately. You might find it in a
- Tribes Post (Sometimes it’s in a locked post)
- MyMiniFactory Campaign page/Updates

If you can’t find the code, here's a simple guidance document about how to reach out to the Creator.
▹ Where can I manage my subscriptions?
You can manage your subscriptions at Settings > Subscriptions.
▹ How can I upgrade/downgrade my tier?
To upgrade your Tribe subscription.
Please cancel your current subscription at: Settings > Subscriptions. Then subscribe to the new higher Tier.
After you've done the upgrade, please fill out this Form to request a refund, we will refund you the cancelled tier in 3-5 business days.

To downgrade your Tribe subscription.
Please reach out to the Creator for confirmation first. Then once it's confirmed, please cancel your current subscription at: Settings > Subscriptions. please fill out this Form to request a refund, we will refund you the cancelled tier in 3-5 business days.

*Please note, this is a temporary workflow in the Tribes beta version. MyMiniFactory is working on developing the full feature of Tier upgrade.
▹ Where can I change my sale tax country?
You can change your sale tax country in Settings > Profile
▹ Where can I manage my payment details for my subscriptions?
Upon subscribing your payment details will be saved for ongoing subscription payments, however occasionally the next subscription payment may not be processed on time, due to a number of reasons including your usual payment method needs updating.

PayPal: if you are unsure how to check the payment status on PayPal, you can do it as follows:
1) Log in to your PayPal account
2) Click Settings near the top of the page
3) Click Payments
4) Click Manage pre-approved payments
5) Click the name of the merchant for the agreement you want to review

Credit and debit cards (Stripe): if your subscription payment is not processed on time and / or cancelled, then please ensure your subscription is cancelled in Settings > Subscriptions. and purchase the subscription product again to restart that particular subscription.
▹ How does VAT/Sales Tax work on MyMiniFactory Tribes?
VAT/Sales Tax will be applied as an additional charge on subscription payments placed in certain countries and regions, depending on your location. It will be clearly displayed in your transaction confirmation breakown at the checkout stage.
▹ How do refunds work on MyMiniFactory Tribes?
Refunds on Tribes will only be provided in exceptional circumstances. Please refer to our Refund Policy in the Terms & Conditions page. The aim of Tribes is to support creators and if you are unhappy about the service provided please do contact the creator as the first port of call. Please note most subscriptions are monthly and therefore subscribers are freely able to cancel their subscription renewal before the next monthly payment date.

▹ What is FronTiers?
FronTiers is a tool to expand the market for the community and add value to the MyMiniFactory Ecosystem. A tool that is dedicated to Digital Creators and their communities. FronTiers is not a crowdfunding service. It is a product that allows Digital Creators to release their latest projects and original content to the community as a pre-release.
▹ What does FronTiers offer?
- Pioneers are generated through Tiers
- Extra rewards are unlocked by more Pioneers (Milestones)
- A FronTier may host any number of Tiers, often including Earlybirds which offer rewards at a reduced rate for either a limited amount of time or seats
- Pioneers (supporters of a FronTier) can purchase Add-ons that may include previous projects and more non-core content that compliment the FrontTier
- Creators, Pioneers and members of the community are able to communicate and share feedback using the Comments section
- Updates allow Creators to keep the community informed with notable events throughout the FronTier, such as file releases and Milestone unlocks
- A comprehensive “About FronTier” section so Creators can detail each element of the project
- There are no funding goals on FronTiers, as payment is taken upfront
- From Pioneering to file redemption, everything is in one easy-to-use platform, keeping it simple and streamlined for Pioneers and Creators
- Files and rewards are all stored in a Pioneer’s MyMiniFactory Library
- Interactive Nav bar to easily navigate the FronTier

The Creators of MyMiniFactory are at the forefront of the MyMiniFactory Ecosystem. They are pioneering the industry and breaking boundaries with their content which can now be released through a FronTier.
▹ What should I expect in the Open Beta release?
As with any new release, you may experience some bugs or lack of certain functionalities. If you have any feedback regarding FronTiers or ideas to help improve this product, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.
▹ I have made a purchase, when will I receive the rewards?
You will receive the files either immediately or once the FronTier has ended (please refer to the specific FronTier’s preference of distribution). Any updates regarding the release date of rewards are the responsibility of the FronTier Creator.

▹ How can I upgrade my Tier?
Tiers can be upgraded easily by selecting any higher tier Tier. By doing so, the price you see at checkout will only show the difference in price for the Tier upgrade.
▹ When will I be charged?
You will be charged immediately after a Tier or Add-on has been purchased. You can review your order on the Order Details page.
*Please note, FronTiers is not a crowdfunding service. It is a product that allows Digital Creators to release their latest projects and original content to the community as a pre-release.
▹ I would like to cancel my purchase and get a refund, what should I do?
If you want to request a refund for your purchase of a digital product via FronTiers, the request has to be made within 14 days of the purchase and before the files are released. Please reach out to MyMiniFactory via the Contact Us Page for more information.

If the files are released immediately, you will not be eligible for a refund unless there is a problem with the digital files.

MyMiniFactory only provides the platform upon which payments between customers and creators are made. Pioneers will need to contact the Creator to request a refund if there are any issues with the digital product.

*Please note: once the refund is issued, you may lose access to purchases, downloads, content, or future updates. You may not be eligible for a refund for digital products that have already been downloaded.
▹ Where can I review my purchase?
You can review your purchase under the “Tier” tab of any FronTier page. Your files can be found in your MyMiniFactory Library on MyMiniFactory or Order Details page.
▹ What are Milestones? Are these included in the Tiers?
Milestones are unlocked as a FronTier reaches certain thresholds of the total funding. If your Tier level includes Milestones (more information can be found on the individual FronTier about section), you will receive all the unlocked rewards once the FronTier ends. Milestones are available to view on the “About FronTier” tab.
▹ What is an Earlybird Tier?
An Earlybird is a time or seat limited Tier that grants a lower-priced option for Pioneers.
▹ Where can I change my notification settings?
You can update your notifications settings in Settings > Notifications.

By default, you will only receive a notification if you leave a comment and another user replies to your comment. If you want to edit your notifications settings, please click all the boxes under the “FronTier” section in your Settings > Notifications
▹ I have questions about the files in a FronTier, who can I reach out to?
If you have any further questions about the content in a Tier, please reach out to the Creator of the FronTier, or leave a comment in the comments section.

▹ I need assistance with my payment or other issues, what can I do?
Please Contact Us if you have any issues with payment. Once we receive the ticket, we will get back to you in 3-5 business days.
Purchasing and Downloading Files from MyMiniFactory | Library | File Management | Discount Code | VAT
▹ Where can I find my previous purchase/downloads?
Once you download an object, the object will be shown as a zip file or a single stl file in your personal device. You can find the object in your library > purchases, or you can review your previous purchase in your order history.
▹ How do I apply a discount code?
You will find discount codes provided by Creator or MyMiniFactory. Please copy the code and apply it before you check out.
▹ Can I stack discount codes?
No, you can’t apply two discount codes provided by the same Creator or MyMiniFactory.
For example, if a Creator provides two codes, Discount1 and Discount2, you can’t apply two codes on the same purchase.
▹ How does VAT/Sales Tax work on MyMiniFactory?
VAT/Sales Tax will be applied as an additional charge on transaction payments placed in certain countries and regions depending on your location. This additional charge will be clearly displayed in your transaction confirmation breakdown at the checkout stage.
Redeeming Files at MyMiniFactory | Invitation Email | File Management Redeem Process
▹ Where can I find my redeem email?
Creators send invitation emails to your email address that registered with Kickstarter or Patreon. Please check if you receive the invitation email when a Creator has announced that the file is ready.
*Please note, The email can be in your spam folder or promotional folders. If you already have an MyMiniFactory account, you can find the redeem email in: MyMiniFactory Inbox

If you can’t find an invitation email anywhere, please fill out the Form here to help us validate your eligibility. We will look into your submission in 5-7 business days and keep you updated regarding your purchased files/reward.
▹ Will I get an invitation email if I don’t have an MyMiniFactory account?
Yes, you will receive the invitation email even if you don’t have a MyMiniFactory account. You can find the registered button if you click the redeem button in the email.
▹ Will I receive the invitation email if my MyMiniFactory email address is different from the one that I registered with Kickstarter/Patreon?
Yes, you will still be able to receive an invitation email if the email address that you registered with MyMiniFactory is different from the one that you registered with Kickstarter or Patreon.
As long as you received the invitation email, you should be able to redeem the file by clicking the button and linking to your MyMiniFactory account.
▹ Where can I see my previous Pledge / Loyalty Reward / File Releases?
If you would like to access your previous redeemed files, you can find them in your Library > Objects Shared with Me or Campaigns based on if it's a pledge or a shared file.

About the Pledge Manager | Late Pledge | Add-ons | Redeem Process
▹ What is the Pledge Manager?
It is a post Kickstarter offering where you can support Creators by backing their projects.
▹ What is a late-pledge?
It is a bundle of STL products that are the same or similar as what is offered by the Creator Kickstarter project, which is called a “pledge”.
▹ What is an add-on?
Add-ons are extra files that are released by Creators related to the specific campaign. Some are already available for purchase and others are already included in the previous defined pledge levels; meaning if they are part of our current pledge level it will show “You own this”. If you do not own the Add-on it will display “Buy” and will be able to download it by clicking “See items”.
▹ I have supported a Creator on Kickstarter, why I didn't get the file?
If you didn’t get the file after a pledge, then the file might be being prepared by the Creator; We will have a post on our Community Blog, also send a notification to you when the file is ready.
About Account and Notifications | Reset Password | Delete an Account | Subscriptions
▹ I forget my password, what should I do?
If you forgot your password, you can reset your MyMiniFactory password with either your username or email using this page:

This will send you an email with instructions and a link to reset your password.
▹ How can I cancel/view my subscriptions?
Please go to your profile > setting > subscriptions to view or cancel a subscription.
▹ How can I stop receiving emails?
Please go to your profile > setting > notifications to select off all options of "Email" and save.
▹ Where can I delete my account?
Please go to your profile > setting > Privacy , click the button “Delete my Account”
Please note, once your account is deleted. It can’t be retrieved. Under GDPR, data controllers and processors are obliged to return or delete all personal data after the end of services. Please make sure you want to proceed with the account deletion process before you press the button.
