Grinderino parts designed to protect the main impact points at the top plate. These parts are fo r the DJI 03 Air unit but I am designing them to be modular so they can be mix and matched with other camera mounts etc. Analog camera mounts and motor skids will be added in the near future. The 03 antenna is relocated to the side of the frame. The black tube on my antenna is trimmed from a previous build but the dvr ant mount is made to fit a stock length antenna between the stack and dvr. A hollow is located on the antenna mount for passing a zip tie. I am using a 20x20 stack but considrations have been made for 45 deg offset boards. On the dvr mount there is a flap which can be peeled back for insterting the sd card. This flap is to prevent premeture ejection of the sd card in an event. I like to use horns on my designs not for the looks but because the tpu is squishy at the tip but becomes exponentially firm at the base. This lets the tpu absorb the energy and spread it evenly over multiple points. The horns above the camera are made to stay out of view as much as possible while also stopping impacts around the camera. I dont like how much carbon is left in view on these frames so I will be filing mine down but the flaps at the front standoffs are there to cushion impact at the top plate. They are angled to hide behind the carbon that is left in view of the cam. Everything is made for bashing with the least tpu. The skids are minimalist and focus protection at the front outside edge of the motor. Added 20x20 m2 adapter plate for for m2 stacks that won't fit the grinderino hardware. I have included the presliced files I printed my parts with. They are for a standard size printer mine is anet-a8. I use a .05 nozzel but they should still print fine on .04 nozzel. Solid files are included to slice your own. The camera mount is to be duplicated and mirrored in the slicer, left and right side are simetrical.
If the file appears small in the slicer then scale up the model uniformly and multiply the x,y,z by 25.4 this converts inches to mm. The stl is in inches but the slicers are in mm. i have changed how I upload files to prevent this but if it happens message me.
I suggest printing at 50mm, 190-195 nozzel, 70 bed temp, full cooling and I print using a .05 nozzel
