Description
You done me wrong, so here's your song
Now sing along, baby
Yeah, after the last model I made, we all saw this was coming. Wasn't sure where to post this as it's multiple models combined into one. So, this diorama was inspired by Sturgill Simpson's music video for the song "Sing Along" of course. It is a sort of collaboration project, as the car was a file my brother had bought some time ago, and the samurai was a model I purchased recently. The models are both made by Papsikels with minor modifications to more closely fit the music video, the Nomad Cyber Car has had a trunk added over the open rear, and the model of the samurai was edited to remove the cybernetic arm. The miniature of the samurai that I used can be found here https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-jinko-masa-133439
The car printed really well, though there was some slight warping in the bullbar on the front from my own less than stellar support work. The smoke was made using steel wool that was brushed over with paint to tint it and the base was made with air dry clay. I honestly love these miniatures, both the car and samurai, as well as the music video that inspired this diorama, so making this was a foregone conclusion.
