Description
Curious about fit. . . I printed the test pieces at 100% using recommended settings (I am using Prusa Slicer, Mini+ printer, PLA). They came out great with minimal stringing, good adhesion and support. My question is fit. The pieces all slip together with a little coaxing. I understand now that there is a bias with the lobes. . . that you can more easily fit the lobed “fingers” down into the receiving gaps. This makes sense and explains why a piece will slide on one way but not as easily the other way. How much friction should there be? Mine are loose enough so that if I hold the four pieces assembled by one piece, the others might fall off. Should they be tighter than this? Another way to describe: I can slide a lobe into its mating piece a little more than halfway beyond flush before it gets too tight to slip past. This seems just a bit loose. So, the question is, how much should I adjust scale for a better fit? 99%? 98%? 99.5? Curious what experience has shown is a good step to try.
